As a family man, with three children and two grandchildren, I understand all too well the enormous financial pressures on each generation. I am sure this perspective enables me to empathise all the more with my clients, to bear in mind their needs and their goals at all times, and to source for them the very best financial plan.
I have been in the financial services industry since 1979, starting at the age of 18 as an insurance agent for Royal London Mutual Insurance, moving to Aviva in 1992 where I eventually specialised in equity release. I am a qualified member of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a member of the Society of Mortgage Professionals.
I think I am a friendly, sociable person: I play in Woodfalls Band, one of the premier brass bands in the country; I help out at my local church; and my professional life very much revolves around doing all that I can to ensure my clients’ financial security and peace of mind. In fact, I often become friends with my clients.
“We are just writing to convey our appreciation for all your time and effort that you put into trying to secure a lifetime mortgage for us. As you already know from our previous phone conversation, we have decided not to proceed on this occasion for various personal reasons. Nevertheless if at any time in the future we reconsider this option, we would certainly be very happy to contact you again. You worked tirelessly for our interests, and for that we thank you very much.”
